Work Experience Requirement
- A minimum of 10 years related experience in the compressor/compressor valve industry
- Has proven record in management and leadership skills such as:
- Excellent communication skills to handle direct communications with company staff as well as customers
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent technical skills and the ability to use a variety of industry’s hardwares and softwares
- Strategic thinking and ability to propel development and growth in new markets
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong leadership capability
- Qualified in a suitable mechanical trade. Completed college or technical school diploma.
- Professional certifications in compressor, valve technology in the industries are highly advantageous;
- Proven technical experience and field/service leadership in the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:
The Service Manager will work in Singapore for our compression technology division. The incumbent is responsible for managing, directing and coordinating our service-related activities. He will be responsible for the daily / after-hours operations of the compressor service department, customer satisfaction, equipment, maintenance and supervision of technicians and engineers. The incumbent will be an individual with excellent technical, customer service, communication and organizational skills. The work environment requires a person with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to and drive change.
Tasks:
- To guide service engineers for servicing of all types of process gas compressors.
- To work closely with sales team for technical and commercial customer relationship management. Also for developing and growing existing and new customer relationships/markets.
- To prepare and present technical offers to our customers/clients (Service-related proposals).
- To analyze customers' needs & requirements in close collaboration with them; Project Management from acquisition of works until contract fulfilment.
- To manage the existing workshop and a team of overhaul engineers and technicians.
- To maintain and supervise process compressors and their drive engine works for the petrochemical industry.
- To carry out monitoring of compressor performance and analyze results, full training is provided here.
- To carry out routine maintenance and valve servicing on-site and in the base workshop; complete all relevant reports and put forward our recommendations.
- Ideal solutions to resolve customer complaints and works with the Sales Engineer(s) to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Highest standard of maintenance and supervision of process compressors and drive engines
- Professional analyses of customers needs and requirements and prepares technical offers
- Identifying, develops and expansion of existing and potential markets/ customers
- Management of all accounts and projects from acquisition with sales team to fulfilment
- Account for and monitoring of compressor performance and results analysis
- Meticulous onsite and workshop maintenance and valve servicing
- Ensuring smooth and timely provision of all compressor service, after office-hour's support for customers, technical support to customers, in-house manufacturing, technical advice and after sales support to end users, etc.
- Manage local workshop staff (overhaul engineers and technicians)
- To manage, train and develop engineers and technicians to upgrade their skills and knowledge
